The game was mostly controlled by Melilla Baloncesto. Lleida Basquet managed to win second period 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Melilla Baloncesto looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Jose Salvador Arco (194-85) notched 22 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and American forward Ridge McKeither (198-88, college: Angelo St.) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Even 21 points by American-Madagascar power forward Charles Ramsdell (208-85, college: Tulsa, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Lleida Basquet. Forward Miguel Feliu (200-85) added 15 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
