The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kyoto Hannar. won third quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Shimane Magic won last quarter 23-22. American players dominated the game. Forward Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota, agency: SportsTalent) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and guard Jermaine Boyette (188-78, college: Weber St., agency: SportsTalent) added 16 points in the effort for Kyoto Hannar.Five Shimane Magic and four Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
