The game without a history. Maccabi T-A led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maccabi T-A forced 19 B.C. Habikaa turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Maccabi T-A players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. International guard Yogev Ohayon (189-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 7 assists. International swingman Guy Pnini (200-83) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. American swingman Dion Dowell (200-85, college: Houston) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Troy Gillenwater (205-88, college: N.Mexico St.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for B.C. Habikaa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
