Date: May 8, 2012
The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American guard David Bell (186-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points. Surinamese forward Sergio de Randamie (201-84, college: Houston, agency: R.H.Consultancy) helped adding 9 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Tai Wesley (200-86, college: Utah St.) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard David Gonzalvez (193-87, college: Richmond) scored 4 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
