The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-13. But Kutaisi won third quarter 25-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montenegrin power forward Ivan Todorovic (214-84, agency: Interperformances) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and international guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Olimpi players scored in double figures. Center Richard Matiashvili (209-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and forward Rezo Didia (203-87) added 15 points respectively for Kutaisi in the defeat.
