It looked good early as Kutaisi took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Olimpi had a 18-12 second period charge getting the lead and Kutaisi was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-73. It was an exceptional evening for international guard Georgi Tsintsadze (192-86) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Giorgi Gamqrelidze (183-86, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Olimpi players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Darko Cohadarevic (206-86, college: Texas Tech) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and Azerbaijani guard Zaur Pashayev (186-83) added 12 points respectively for Kutaisi in the defeat.
