The game was mostly controlled by Minsk-2006. Minsk-2006 II managed to win second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Minsk-2006 II's players. Russian forward Aleksandr Fomin (207-86, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side center Vladimir Krisevich (210) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
