American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Narito Namizato (175-89) contributed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Okinawa GK's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
