It looked good early as Cocodrilos took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Marinos had a 30-15 second period charge getting the lead and Cocodrilos were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-83. Marinos held Cocodrilos to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Marinos brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American point guard Tre Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) notched 13 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and the former international point guard Gregory Vargas (182-86) supported him with 11 points and 5 assists. Four Marinos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by Dominican power forward Jack Michael Martinez (203-81, agency: Paris Global Sports) did not help to save the game for Cocodrilos.
