The game was mostly controlled by SBK Osipovichi. BGUIR-RTI was better in fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SBK Osipovichi forced 19 BGUIR-RTI turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international center Yury Mishukov (205-85) nailed 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four SBK Osipovichi players scored in double figures. SBK Osipovichi's coach Igor Galaburda allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Genniadiy Zakhar (198-92) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Aliaksandr Kuzmitski (198-92) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BGUIR-RTI in the defeat.
