Bennet Cantu toppled Scavolini for 1-0 lead. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-10. But Scavolini Pesaro won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Georgian guard Manuchar Markoishvili (196-86) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and American point guard Doron Perkins (188-83, college: Santa Clara) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Five Bennet Cantu players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international guard Daniel Hackett (198-87, college: USC, agency: Two Points) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American guard James White (199-84, college: Cincinnati, agency: Court Side) scored 14 points.
