The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime then Grupo Iruna Navarra managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was Menorca Basquet who were better in overtime eventually winning that period 20-18. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Grupo Iruna Navarra was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Oliver Arteaga (211-83) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Marc Blanch (195-82) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Menorca Basquet players scored in double figures. Menorca Basquet's coach Josep Berrocal used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Inaki Narros (194-81) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Mikel Uriz (180-89) added 18 points in the effort for Grupo Iruna Navarra.
