Emporio Armani advanced into the semifinal stage posting the third straight win over Umana Venezia. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 27-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Malik Hairston (198-87, college: Oregon) who scored 20 points. American-Montenegrin point guard Omar-Sharif Cook (186-82, college: St.John's, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists.
