The game without a history. Regal FC Barcelona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Valencia Basket's 38. Slovenian power forward Erazem Lorbek (209-84, college: Michigan St.) nailed 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American forward Pete Mickeal (199-78, college: Cincinnati) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds. Brazilian center Vitor Faverani (211-88) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Niklas Caner-Medley (203-83, college: Maryland, agency: Beo Basket) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Valencia Basket in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
