Finals Game 3: BK Prostejov - CEZ Nymburk 66-84

Nymburk earned the third straight win over Prostejov to appear one step away from the NBL title. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-66. CEZ Nymburk forced 19 BK Prostejov turnovers. Strangely BK Prostejov outrebounded CEZ Nymburk 46-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when CEZ Nymburk made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for American guard Chester Simmons (198-82, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Pavel Pumprla (200-86) helped adding 12 points and 4 assists. Five CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. CEZ Nymburk's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Bertengeh Gadri-Nicholson (208-83, college: Denver) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 19 points.
