Semi-Finals Game 1: Petron Blaze - KL Dragons 111-104 OT

Petron Blaze needed overtime to overcome pesky KL Dragons at home court in the opener. KL Dragons were tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 9-16s. Petron Blaze dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to KL Dragons' 54. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) stepped up and scored 32 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Duke Crews (203-88, college: Bowie St.) chipped in 25 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side center Brian Williams (208-87, college: Tennessee, agency: VVG Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Tiras Wade (200-81, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Interperformances) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Petron Blaze and four KL Dragons players scored in double figures.
