Enel Brindisi became the first finalists as they claimed the third straight win over Sigma Barcellona. Sigma Barcellona was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Jonathan Gibson (182-87, college: N.Mexico St.) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import point guard Alex Renfroe (191-86, college: Belmont) accounted for 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Center Manuele Mocavero (203-80) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and forward Matteo Da Ros (204-89) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Sigma Barcellona in the defeat. Four Sigma Barcellona players scored in double figures.
