Pistoia celebrated the second win over Givova Scafati to step closer to the Final. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-16. But Givova Scafati won second period 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tuscany Pistoia dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Givova Scafati's 24. 25 personal fouls committed by Givova Scafati helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American point guard Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Bobby Jones (201-84, college: Washington) helped adding 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was naturalized Argentinian point guard Marcos Casini (188-80) with 30 points and 5 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international swingman Andrea Ghiacci (200-81) scored 18 points. Four Givova Scafati players scored in double figures.
