Semi-Finals Game 2: Montepaschi - Banco di Sard. 92-66

Montepaschi eased to the second consecutive win over Sassari in Siena. The game without a history. Montepaschi Siena led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Montepaschi Siena outrebounded Banco di Sard. 39-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Lithuanian center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-FYR Macedonian point guard Bo McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Four Montepaschi Siena players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Serbian power forward Vanja Plisnic (205-80, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) scored 11 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
