Semi-Finals Game 3: Banco di Sard. - Montepaschi 64-79

Montepaschi Siena claimed the third straight win over Sassari and advanced into the Final. The game was mostly controlled by Montepaschi Siena. Banco di Sard. was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montepaschi Siena dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Banco di Sard.'s 30. It was an exceptional evening for American-FYR Macedonian point guard Bo McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Lithuanian center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. American forward Tony Easley (206-87, college: Murray St., agency: Pro One Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Banco di Sard. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
