Semi-Finals Game 2: KL Dragons - Petron Blaze 100-77

KL Dragons held off Petron Blaze to force the decisive third game in the series. The game was mostly controlled by KL Dragons. Petron Blaze managed to win second period 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Petron Blaze helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Brian Williams (208-87, college: Tennessee) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Tiras Wade (200-81, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 34 points (!!!) during the contest. American forward Duke Crews (203-88, college: Bowie St.) responded with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Chris Banchero (185, college: Seattle Pacific) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Four Petron Blaze players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
