Melilla Baloncesto was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 23-13 charge of Menorca Basquet, which allowed them to win the game. Point guard Jorge Jimenez (182-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. American forward Taylor Coppenrath (205-81, college: Vermont) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Menorca Basquet's coach Josep Berrocal used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Jose Salvador Arco (194-85) replied with 22 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and point guard Juan Riera (188-79) added 17 points in the effort for Melilla Baloncesto. Four Melilla Baloncesto players scored in double figures.
