Finals Game 1: Montepaschi - EA7 Armani 86-77

Defending champions Montepaschi grabbed the lead in the title series. They overcame Emporio Armani in the opener. Armani Milano trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 19-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-86 at the end of the game. Montepaschi Siena made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. American-FYR Macedonian point guard Bo McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) stepped up and scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners and American guard Marvis Thornton (194-77, college: St.John's) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Montepaschi Siena players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Malik Hairston (198-87, college: Oregon) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Alessandro Gentile (197-92) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
