Pistoia survived an overtime thriller and managed to post the first win in the title series against Enel Brindisi. The teams now head for the fourth game scheduled for Thursday. Enel Brindisi was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 24-19 charge of Tuscany Pistoia, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 11-10. Tuscany Pistoia forced 22 Enel Brindisi turnovers. Enel Brindisi was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Bobby Jones (201-84, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) helped adding 12 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was point guard Jonathan Gibson (182-87, college: N.Mexico St.) with 30 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Alex Renfroe (191-86, college: Belmont) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
