Finals Game 3: EA7 Armani - Montepaschi 79-82

Montepaschi Siena came within reach of SeriaA title after they handed Emporio Armani the third loss in a row. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-79. 30 personal fouls committed by Armani Milano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Lithuanian center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. Australian center David Andersen (212-80) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Malik Hairston (198-87, college: Oregon) with 25 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and swingman Alessandro Gentile (197-92) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
