Semi-Finals Game 4: CANADA - BRAZIL 62-66

Brazil will play in the Final of home U18 Fiba Americas Championship. The hosts held off previously undefeated Canada in the semifinal battle to set up an exciting clash versus the USA for the crown. Deryk Ramos accounted for 18 points to lead Brazil to the crucial win. Canada got to a trademark strong start. They overwhelmed the hosts to build a 23:18 lead after ten minutes. Brazil however quickly reacted and went on a 21:12 run to take a 39:35 halftime lead. Canada stiffened their defence and held Brazil to only 7 points in the third term. The North American team entered the final quarter up by 5 points. But Brazil dominated the final minutes. They outscored Canada 20:11 and sealed the victory at the end. Lucas Dias provided 15 points and 9 rebounds, while Arthur Fernandes netted 10 points in the win. Xavier Rathan-Mayes answered with 21 points for Canada. Andrew Wiggins had 17 points and 7 rebounds in defeat.
