Cuba spoiled Nicaragua’s opener at the 2012 Centrobasket. Cuba improved to 1-1 record after 80:47 win in Day 2. Cuba started with 18:12 in the opening period and never looked behind after. The winners added massive 24-8 in the second period for 42:20 at the halftime. Moreover Cuba produced a 19-14 surge in the third frame and did not even think of slowing down. They finished the game with 19-13 in the last period to seal the victory. Tomorrow Nicaragua will face Puerto Rico, while Cuba will have a day-off. Valdez Lisvan erupted with 34 points and 11 rebounds, while Soria Yoannis netted 15. Torres Orestes delivered 10 and Rodriguez Yaser scored 8. Thomas Vansdell finished the game with 9 points in defeat and Sloan Windell notched 8.
