Great Britain edge China in London as both teams finished Group B of the Olympics 2012. The hosts finished the journey with the comfortable 90:58 win and improved to 1-4 record. China lost all five games and dropped at 0-5 record on the bottom of the group. Great Britain started the game with 27-15 and never looked behind after. The hosts added 19-16 in the second frame for 46:31 at the halftime. Great Britain dominated also the second half. They won the third period 26-17 and finished the game with 18-10. Achara Kieron top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Reinking Nathan posted 12. Sullivan Drew delivered 11 and Johnson Kyle added 9. Wang ZhiZhi finished the game with 11 points in the losing effort, while Yi Jianlian collected 10 points and 14 rebounds. Wang ShiPeng scored 9 and Zhou Peng chipped in with 8.
