Brazil advanced to the Big Final of U18 FIBA Americas in Gurabo. They eliminated Argentina with 67-54 in the Semis. Brazil's rival will be defending champion USA. At the other side, Argentina will play against Canada for the bronze medal. Vanessa Goncalves led Brazil with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Isabela Ramona followed her with 11 points and 8 rebs, while, Estela Gregorio netted 7 pts. In defeat, Micaela Sancisi had 17 points and Julieta Armesto had 16 pts, plus 9 rebs. Their third scorer was Victoria Llorente with 9 pts (7 rebs). Quarters: 9-13, 15-19, 20-7, 23-15. Sunday is the last day of the championship in Gurabo.
