Semi-Finals Game 4: PUERTO RICO - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 68-35

Puerto Rico outplayed Dominican Republic 68-35 on Saturday. It means that the host of U18 FIBA Americas made a first step toward fifth place in Gurabo. They will have to beat Colombia on Sunday to take this spot. Dominican Republic will fight for seventh place against Mexico. All of the above mentioned teams failed to book a ticket for the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship. Puerto Rico made 17-point lead until the halftime and had no troubles to keep it for rest of the game. Quarters: 14-8, 16-5, 19-6, 19-16. Aleana Leon and Roxairaly Armesto scored 13 points each for the winners. Diamalises Rivera followed them with 12 points and 9 rebs. In loss, Cheisy Hernandez had 15 points and 5 rebs, and Yamel Abreu added 10 points. Championship ends today.
