Second Stage Day 4: LEBANON - SYRIA 91-72

Lebanon opened win count at the Second Stage of U18 Asia Championship. They knocked down Syria in Group E to improve at 2-1 record. Wael Arakji stepped up with 33 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Lebanon cleared off to a 7-poitn lead after ten minutes 20:13. Syria narrowed the gap in the second quarter. They got within just five points at halftime 34:39. But Lebanon managed to boost their lead in the third term. They held Syria to 14 points in the quarter and ensured a 12-point buffer heading into the fourth frame. Lebanon fired 31 points in the final stanza to seal the victory. Jimmy Salem and Hanna Nemer contributed 11 points each for the winners. Mahmmoud Trub responded with 23 points for Syria. Mourad Hashim had 12 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
