The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Porvoon Tarmo as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Division. Porvoon Tarmo smashed bottom-ranked Torpan Pojat at home 93-58. The game without a history. Porvoon Tarmo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Porvoon Tarmo had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Guard Isaiah Tate (192-89, college: George Mason) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jerrah Young (201-85, college: Toledo) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Young is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Porvoon Tarmo players scored in double figures. Forward HL Coleman (202-74, college: Wyoming) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Devin Ginty (188-89, college: San Diego, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 16 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Torpan Pojat at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Torpan Pojat will play next round against strong Pyrinto II trying to get back on the winning streak. Porvoon Tarmo will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Aanekosken Huima at Aanekoski.
