Very significant was MOSiR Krosno's (#7) just 2-point road victory against 8th ranked SKK Siedlce 69-67. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. MOSiR Krosno forced 20 SKK Siedlce turnovers. Strangely SKK Siedlce outrebounded MOSiR Krosno 35-20 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Kamil Laczynski (180-89) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 5 assists. Guard Piotr Pluta (192-81, agency: Court Side) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) came up with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals and forward Marcin Chodkiewicz (200-82, agency: Promotex) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for SKK Siedlce in the defeat. Four MOSiR Krosno and five SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. SKK Siedlce's coach Tomasz Araszkiewicz tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MOSiR Krosno (2-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with 6 other teams. SKK Siedlce at the other side dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. MOSiR Krosno will play against Sokol Lancut (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
