No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Levice (2-1) defeated on the road 10th ranked BK Prostejov (1-3) 78-62. The game without a history. Levice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by Canadian forward Troy Gottselig (203-87) who scored that evening 14 points and 9 rebounds and Slovakian swingman Martin Sykora (192-81) supported him with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Levice's coach Peter Balint used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 9 points and 9 rebounds by international Kamil Svrdlik (200-86, college: Fair Dickinson) did not help to save the game for BK Prostejov. Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) added 14 points for lost side. Five Levice and four BK Prostejov players scored in double figures. Levice maintains sixth position with 2-1 record. BK Prostejov at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Levice's next round opponent will be Levharti Chomutov (#11) at home where they are favorite. BK Prostejov will play against B&W Opava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
