The game had a very big importance for first-ranked TU/Rock as it allowed them to take a leadership position. TU/Rock smashed bottom-ranked Valga on the road 94-50. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Valga outrebounded TU/Rock 35-0 including a 25- advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Vallo Allingu (206-78) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Silver Leppik (189-83) chipped in 16 points and 6 steals. Five TU/Rock players scored in double figures. Latvian guard Edgars Cunda (195-84, agency: Court Side) produced 9 points and American forward Morgan Grim (203-88, college: Utah St.) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. TU/Rock have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. which they share with defeated Valga. Valga at the other side still keeps top with three games lost. Valga will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. TU/Rock will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Jelgava at home.
