Regular Season Round 4: Bordeaux - Denain 91-86

Bordeaux has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Denain Voltaire (0-4) 91-86 on Tuesday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Denain Voltaire won third quarter 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Nate Carter (201-83, college: Oklahoma) fired 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Markel Humphrey (198-87, college: Marshall, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Lee Humphrey (189-84, college: Florida) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Four Denain Voltaire players scored in double figures. Bordeaux (1-3) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. It was Denain Voltaire's fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Bordeaux will meet Nantes (#17) on the road in the next round. Denain Voltaire will play against Hyeres-Toulon and hopes to get finally their first victory.
