Regular Season Round 10: BC Donetsk - Hoverla 77-79

The most exciting game of round 10 in the Superleague took place in Donetsk. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers BC Donetsk (4-2) to sixth ranked Hoverla (4-2) 79-77 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BC Donetsk. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Ramel Curry (192-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) replied with 17 points and 4 assists and point guard Doron Perkins (188-83, college: Santa Clara) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for BC Donetsk. Four BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Hoverla moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Halychyna and BC Donetsk. Hoverla is looking forward to face higher ranked Azovmash (#3) in Mariupol in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC Donetsk will play at home against Halychyna in Lviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
