Regular Season Round 3: HK Zory - Tychy 70-61

Rather predictable result when leader HK Zory (2-0) beat at home 7th ranked Tychy (1-2) 70-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 45-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. HK Zory forced 20 Tychy turnovers. Tychy was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Grzegorz Zadecki (193-83) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Lukasz Ochodek (195-82) chipped in 19 points. HK Zory's coach Lukasz Szymik used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (196-83) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and forward Lukasz Kaczmarski (193-80) added 7 points and 10 rebounds respectively. HK Zory moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Sudety. Newly promoted Tychy keeps the seventh position with two games lost. HK Zory will face GTK Gliwice (#4) on the road in the next round.
