Very expected game when 11th ranked Aldast Strakonice (1-6) lost at home to third ranked Kara Trutnov (6-1) 60-55 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 25-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Ambrosia Anderson (186-84, college: BYU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Her fellow American import power forward El Sara Greer (188, college: Oregon St.) accounted for 6 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Center Zora Jileckova (194-81) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Slovakian center Viera Libicova (190-80) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Aldast Strakonice in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kara Trutnov. They moved-up to second place, which they share with IMOS Brno and Hradec Kralove. Loser Aldast Strakonice keeps the eleventh position with six games lost. Kara Trutnov will meet at home league's leader USK Praha in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aldast Strakonice will play against VS Praha (#5).
