Bottom-ranked BK Pliska Studanka is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Valosun Brno (3-4) 77-47. The game without a history. Valosun Brno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Valosun Brno forced 19 BK Pliska Studanka turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Ashleigh Fontenette (172-89, college: Texas) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Eva Mrhalkova (175-88) helped adding 18 points. At the losing side center Marketa Jedlickova (187-94) responded with 6 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Michaela Pavlasova (180-91) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Valosun Brno moved-up to sixth place, which they share with VSE Praha. BK Pliska Studanka lost their seventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with seven games lost. Valosun Brno will play against Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (#9) at home in the next round. BK Pliska Studanka will play against Sokol Hradec Kralove and hopes to get finally their first victory.
