We should mention about the upset which took place in Jonava, where higher ranked Zalgiris-Sabonio (4-3) lost to fifteenth ranked Triobet (3-4) in a road game 83-93. Zalgiris-Sabonio was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 30-18 charge of Triobet, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Triobet outrebounded Zalgiris-Sabonio 41-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Zalgiris-Sabonio helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Paulius Vaitiekunas (205-92) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side.
