Date: October 27, 2012
Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Phoenix Hagen (2-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked ratiopharm Ulm (5-1) 90-78. It looked good early as Phoenix Hagen took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ratiopharm Ulm had a 28-19 second period charge getting the lead and Phoenix Hagen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-90. ratiopharm Ulm made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by guard David Bell (186-81, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Phoenix Hagen. Forward Dino Gregory (200-89, college: Maryland, agency: Two Points) added 12 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). ratiopharm Ulm have a solid four-game winning streak.
