Regular Season Round 6: Lietkabelis - TU/Rock 72-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-best Lithuanian Lietkabelis' (3-1) home loss to first ranked Estonian TU/Rock (5-1) 72-76 on Monday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-72. TU/Rock made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. American point guard Justin Ingram (188-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Russian center Ivan Nelyubov (207-88) chipped in 6 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Karolis Babkauskas (186-91) with 18 points and 7 assists and Latvian center Kaspars Cipruss (210-82) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TU/Rock have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Loser Lietkabelis keep the second place with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
