Very predictable result when leader Hod Hasharon (3-0) won against on the road bottom-ranked Beer Yaakov (0-3) 87-81. It looked good early as Beer Yaakov took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hod Hasharon took control winning two of next three quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 6 points. Hod Hasharon outrebounded Beer Yaakov 41-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Beer Yaakov helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
