Regular Season Round 6: Juventus - TU/Rock 99-87

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Estonian TU/Rock (5-1) in Utena on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Lithuanian Juventus (3-2) 99-87. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of TU/Rock. The game was mostly controlled by Juventus. TU/Rock managed to win fourth quarter 29-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Juventus looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by TU/Rock helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Laimonas Kisielius (203-85, college: William & Mary) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Darius Gvezdauskas (191-88) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Five Juventus players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Justin Ingram (188-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) with 27 points and center Joosep Toome (208-85) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Juventus moved-up to third place. TU/Rock at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
