Not a big story in a game in Kariya where 8th ranked Tochigi Brex (1-9) was defeated by third ranked Aishin Sea Horses (7-3) 82-72 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aishin Sea Horses. Tochigi Brex was better in third quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Aishin Sea Horses made 8 blocks. Aishin Sea Horses maintains third place with 7-3 record behind leader Toyota Alvark. Tochigi Brex lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Aishin Sea Horses will face league's second-placed Panasonic Trians in Osaka in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tochigi Brex will play on the road against Mitsubishi Dolphins (#6) in Nagoya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
