There was an upset when second-ranked Groningen (4-2) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Den Helder K. (3-3) 68-55 on Saturday. Groningen was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Den Helder K. forced 19 Groningen turnovers. The best player for the winners was international center Jeroen van der List (213-89, college: Indian Hills CC, agency: Court Side) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Storm Warren (200-88, college: LSU) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Den Helder K. players scored in double figures.
