The game in Osipovichi was also quite interesting. Third ranked Rubon (4-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Svisloch (1-5). Rubon defeated Svisloch 81-69 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Rubon. Svisloch managed to win second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon forced 24 Svisloch turnovers. Forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Siarhei Sapegin (195-84) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Maksim Shustau (188-86) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Aliaksandr Hrumiantsau (205-91) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rubon maintains third place with 4-2 record having just two points less than leader Grodno-93. Loser Svisloch dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Borisfen and Impuls BGUIR. Rubon will meet at home league's second-placed Sozh Gomel in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Svisloch will play against Tsmoki-Minsk II (#4).
