Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Delikatesas (5-6) was outscored by eighth ranked Zanavykas (7-4) in Joniskis 87-64. The game was mostly controlled by Zanavykas. Delikatesas was better in second period 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zanavykas forced 22 Delikatesas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Delikatesas' players. The best player for the winners was guard Edgaras Stanionis (193-88) who scored 37 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Center Vilius Sumskis (213-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points. Swingman Mantas Pukinskas (198-89) produced 20 points and swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Zanavykas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Zalgiris-Sabonio. Delikatesas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Zanavykas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Mazeikiai at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Delikatesas will play against Statyba (#3) in Vilnius.
