A very close game took place in Jonava between Triobet and Olimpas. Ninth ranked Triobet (6-5) got a very close home victory over 7th ranked Olimpas (6-5). Triobet managed to escape with a 3-point win 80-77 in the game for the eighth place. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Tomas Milinskas (202-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Martynas Linkevicius (197-85) accounted for 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Triobet players scored in double figures. Forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) came up with 24 points and forward Julius Kazakauskas (197-90) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Olimpas in the defeat. Olimpas' coach Alidas Zukauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Triobet moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Olimpas. Triobet will meet at home higher ranked Dzukija (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olimpas will play against Ezerunas-Karys in Moletai and hope to secure a win.
